NYC - La Grande Pomme

My wife and I went on an anniversary trip to New York City. It was about a month after our actual anniversary, but hey, any reason is a good reason to head down to New York City

I hadn't been to NYC in just over 4 years, so I was looking forward to making my way down. While my wife had on her agenda a trip to Century 21, I had on mine a trip to BH Photo Video. Together, we planned on hitting some Broadway shows and just soaking in the city. We ended up seeing La Cage aux Folles (which was just brilliant) and Rock of Ages (which was so-so...too tacky for our tastes).

We stayed on 9th and 39th, right at the edge of the Garment district and Hell's Kitchen. Found some great restaurants, met up with a friend for supper, did some touring, lots and lots of walking and spent way more money than we had planned. But its all good, you only live once, right?

Here are some of my favorite photos from the 5 day trip. I'm playing with some different processing, would love to hear what you all think...

I have about 30 of them uploaded on my FLICKR account if you want to see more.
